IPP Backs Hazara Province and New Administrative Divisions

Rapid population growth across Pakistan has intensified governance challenges, necessitating the creation of smaller administrative units, according to Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan. Speaking on Saturday, the party leader advocated for significant territorial reorganizations to improve public service delivery and address local grievances effectively.

The IPP president expressed firm backing for the establishment of a dedicated Hazara province in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to Dawn Pakistan, Khan pointed out that formal demands and calls supporting Hazara's statehood have routinely surfaced within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly since 2010. He described the broad political backing for this initiative as a positive development for regional governance.

Beyond the northern territory, Khan reiterated his party's full commitment to creating South Punjab and Bahawalpur as independent provincial entities. He stated that the IPP would extend complete political support to ensure these long-pending regional demands are ultimately fulfilled.

Addressing administrative strains elsewhere in the country, the IPP chief observed that similar calls for fresh provincial boundaries are gaining momentum in both Punjab and Sindh. He argued that expanding population sizes have overwhelmed existing bureaucratic frameworks, making new provincial structures essential for civic development.

Khan concluded that public sentiment across the nation increasingly favors decentralization, affirming that the IPP stands firmly behind citizens seeking administrative relief through newly established provincial units.
