Night Curfew Imposed in Surab District Over Security Concerns

Local authorities in the Surab district of Balochistan have restricted public movement by enforcing a strict night curfew, following growing concerns over local security conditions. According to details reported by Dawn Pakistan, the movement restrictions were instituted by the local district administration to manage the prevailing law and order environment.

The official order dictates that the curfew will be in effect every night from 8:00 PM until 9:00 AM the following morning. The week-long restriction began on August 9 and is scheduled to remain enforced through August 15, 2026.

Under the issued security protocols, residents across Surab have been directed to stay indoors during the specified curfew hours unless facing essential needs. District officials emphasized that citizens must fully coordinate with law enforcement personnel operating in the region and adhere closely to safety guidelines designed to protect families.

The administration issued an explicit warning that individuals found breaching the curfew orders will face legal proceedings. Official notices also stated that non-compliant individuals would bear full responsibility for any physical harm or property losses suffered as a result of violating the security measures.
