Mir Raza Ali Autopsy: Second Post-Mortem Points to Murder

Fresh evidence has emerged in the mysterious death of Karachi resident Mir Raza Ali after a preliminary second post-mortem examination uncovered severe physical injuries and a gunshot wound delivered from behind. The findings, reported by Business Recorder citing initial medical observations, significantly challenge previous assertions regarding the nature of his passing.

The dispute surrounding Ali's death had previously pitted law enforcement personnel against his grieving family. While investigators initially leaned toward a potential suicide, relatives maintained that he was murdered. The new medical evaluation addresses all 14 inquiry points previously submitted by the police surgeon, tipping the investigation toward a possible homicide probe.

The body was exhumed from a graveyard adjacent to the Rehmania Mosque, located within the territorial limits of the Ferozabad police station. Strict security measures were enforced during the procedure, with a substantial police presence deployed to secure the perimeter while a civil judge and judicial magistrate from Karachi East supervised the proceedings.

Uncertainty also briefly marked the administrative process leading up to the procedure. Shortly before the exhumation commenced, authorities altered the composition of the five-member medical board responsible for reviewing the case and conducting the secondary autopsy.
