Disney Unveils New X-Men Cast and Frozen 3 Details at D23

Disney showcased major updates for its flagship entertainment franchises during the biennial D23 fan convention in Anaheim, California, delivering several high-profile updates regarding upcoming theatrical releases. According to Business Recorder, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige led the superhero presentation on Friday by introducing the main cast for the studio's highly anticipated "X-Men" feature film, which is officially slated to hit cinemas in May 2028.

The newly announced ensemble brings a mix of rising talent and established stars into the Marvel fold. Sadie Sink has been cast as Jean Grey, while Kit Connor will portray Cyclops. Joining the mutant lineup are Christopher Abbott as Professor X, Inde Navarrette as Rogue, and Maya Boyd as Storm. Additionally, Adam Driver took the stage following his confirmation to play the central villain Nathaniel Milbury, better known as Mr. Sinister.

Beyond Marvel's major reveal, Disney unveiled key details for "Frozen 3," announcing that the animated sequel is scheduled to arrive in theaters in November next year. The third chapter in the blockbuster franchise picks up as Anna is getting married, marking a significant milestone in the ongoing story of Arendelle.

Attendees at the California gathering were also treated to exclusive first-look footage from the upcoming animated movie, which teased the introduction of a new female antagonist. Although Disney showed initial clips of the villain, details concerning her identity and voice actor were not disclosed during the event, leaving the D23 presentation as one of the gathering's most talked-about highlights.
