Film producer and co-writer Chris Miller expressed strong disappointment on Friday after unauthorized footage from the upcoming animated feature "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" surfaced online. The material, which appeared on social media platform X earlier in the week, showcased incomplete previews of the highly anticipated sequel.

Responding to the breach, Miller publicly disavowed the circulation of unfinished work, writing that he is "Not a fan of leaks of unfinished footage." The incident marks another high-profile security breach for major Hollywood animated productions ahead of their scheduled theatrical rollouts.

According to Variety, the leaked clip offers an unpolished glimpse into the third installment of the critically acclaimed animated franchise. Sony Pictures currently has the superhero film scheduled to hit theaters on June 18, 2027.
